General Iroh II is named after more than one person… Zuko’s daughter didn’t just name her son after her great-uncle Iroh. He was also named in honor of her late brother, Iroh, who was killed during an assassination attempt on her father’s life. Zuko was left in a state of extreme depressing and emotionless after his son’s murder, and hadn’t truly laughed or smiled in years. But when he heard the name of his baby grandson, he smiled for the first time in many years and began to cry in remembrance of his beloved son and uncle, now knowing the pain his uncle had truly gone through.
